Yoon Eun Hye to Star in New Drama ‘Lie to Me’

Yoon Eun Hye will be returning to TV as the female lead in a new SBS Monday-Tuesday drama, ‘Lie To Me’, opposite Kang Ji Hwan. Yoon Eun Hye and Kang Ji Hwan have been officially confirmed for ‘Lie To Me’, and a charming and perfect romantic comedy is much anticipated.

Lie To Me’ will feature the top nobleman of Korea (Hyun Ki Joon) and the most off the wall girl of Korea in her twenties (Gong Ah Jung), engulfed in a sweet and confrontational scandal that results from a most absurd lie. ‘Lie To Me’ is a romantic comedy about a scandal that ensues after a single woman in her 20′s, Gong Ah Jung, gets pressured to marry and ends up lying that she is married.

Yoon Eun Hye will play Gong Ah Jung, a “daughter mothers would love”, who is off-the-wall and spontaneous, but direct and determined. She will become the most lovable and diverse romantic comedy character. She runs into a great deal of problems with the scandal. An associate of SBS stated, “Yoon Eun Hye has decided to appear in ‘Lie To Me’, which will air after ‘Midas’. She began filming on April 6th.”

Kang Ji Hwan will play Hyun Ki Joon, a super-elite hotel CEO, who gets mistaken for Gong Ah Jung’s husband. This character not only possesses good looks, wealth, education, and fashion, but also self-esteem, responsibility, knowledge, and manners. This will be Kang Ji Hwan’s first project since his double-contract controversy involving the Korea Entertainment Management Association.

‘Lie To Me’, which temporarily changed its title to ‘Sweet Scandal’, has settled on its current title and has already started filming (April 6). PD Kwon Hyuk Chan (Secret Garden) and PD Kim Soo Ryong (Green Rose, First Marriage) will direct ‘Lie to Me’ and the drama is being written by Kim Ye Ri (Heading to the Ground)*.

The production company is confident that the two actors will make ‘Lie to Me’ the most successful romantic comedy drama ever. The production stated:
